About three or four shipping days later ups delivered a replacement lift arm.

The unit is much heavier.
It also uses a strap and heavyduty crank for lift, versus a screw.
Once my tractor was lifted to the limit, i tested the stability by gently rocking and pushing the front of the tractor.
It was stable and i felt safe going underneath.
Note: the ez model has the same support structure, so it is just as stable.
The biggest advantage of this jack over ramps is the accessibility of the bottom of the tractor as seen in one of the photos.
